A day full of experiences

Neuschwanstein and Munich – the old and the new

On our way to Neuschwanstein castle we will stop for breakfast during which you can enjoy the stunning views across the Inntal valley. From here we will then continue to Seefeld, Garmisch Partenkirchen and Oberammergau which will be known to many as the centre of folk music. Anyone who loves wooden sculptures will also be familiar with the town’s famous wooden carvings.

From Oberammergau it is a short drive to Schwangau, the town just below Neuschwanstein. The castle was built by King Louis II and was also the model for Walt Disney’s fairytale castle. During your visit you should also take time to visit the summer residence of King Louis II "Hohenschwangau" as this castle is very impressive, too.

From here you continue to Munich – the capital of Bavaria. We will visit the most important sights after which you can either enjoy a hearty dinner, go shopping or visit the world famous Hofbräuhaus.
