A day of Italian world history

Venice – packed with world history

Our journey to the city of romance and art takes us through the Italian Dolomites and the famous Olympic city of Cortina d´Ampezzo (where the Winter Olympics were held in 1956).

After arriving in Venice-Tronchetto (parking garage), we will sail together by boat along the Grand Canal to the centre of Venice.

Upon arrival at Piazza San Marco we will visit many of the famous sights here on our joint tour e.g. the Campanile, Bridge of Sighs, Basilica San Marco etc.

After this you will have ca. 4.5 hours free time for exploring Venice and can, for example, visit a museum, go shopping and buy souvenirs e.g. beautiful Murano glass or take in the vibrant Italian atmosphere whilst enjoying a cappuccino.

On our return journey to Austria (either along the Tauernautobahn or the Felbertauerntunnel), we will stop off for a relaxing dinner.
